The Sydney and J.L. Huffines Institute for Sports Medicine and Human Performance was created to facilitate an active interchange of information and research findings among strength and sport conditioning coaches, athletic trainers, health and wellness coordinators, clinicians, sports physiologists, clinical physiologists, and rehabilitation specialists. |

Green was voted the award by students after 19 years of service to A&M in the Applied Exercise Physioogy curriculum. Huffines affiliated students accepted to Doctor of Physical Therapy programs.
